Kitchen design for Maine dealers and contractors
Maine cabinet dealers and contractors work in Portland and southern Maine, inland towns, and coastal and lake communities where seasonal homes are common.
We work remotely: we don’t have a showroom in Maine. Every request is handled online through our client portal, so location does not change the process or the turnaround.
You keep the homeowner relationship and the sale. We design in the cabinet brand you sell, so your quote, your order and your design always match.

What Maine cabinet projects look like
- Older farmhouses and Capes. Remodels often deal with low ceilings, sloped floors and small rooms.
- Seasonal camps and cottages. Some homes are closed and unheated in winter, which exposes cabinets to large temperature and humidity swings.
- Coastal vacation rentals. Kitchens need durable finishes and simple storage for guests.
Designing cabinets for Maine’s climate
Long, cold winters with wood or oil heat dry the air, while coastal summers are humid. Wood cabinets move with the seasons: they take on moisture in humid summers and give it up when indoor heating dries the air in winter. Small seasonal movement in solid wood doors is normal. Air conditioning in summer and a humidifier in winter help keep indoor humidity within the range the cabinet manufacturer recommends.
